Glycerin, Stearic Acid, Sandalwood Oil Made in: Bengaluru, Karnataka. Canned foam is mostly propellant and it dries on the face while you are still shaving. This is a traditional lathering cream built on glycerin and stearic acid, worked up with a brush, which puts water against the skin and keeps it there. An almond-sized amount makes enough lather for three passes. A tub is roughly four months of daily shaving.

Switched off canned foam for good
Took two attempts to get the water ratio right on the brush and then it was obvious why people bother. Far fewer nicks. The sandalwood is the classic barbershop one.
